XBA: "Satan's none too happy, having been banished for over 1000 years. Dracula's none too happy either, languishing in his castle, a pale shadow of his former self. Everyone's out for blood in more ways than one in Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2, and playing as the Prince of Darkness shorn of his powers, you have several factions of enemies to contend with. Satan's acolytes walk the earth once more, laying the groundwork for the big bad's return and a showdown between Dracul and Satan to end all evil vs. evil showdowns. Your job is to prevent Lucifer's comeback at your old buddy Zobek's behest, in exchange for a nice bit of blood to return Dracula to his former glory, and of course, a well-earned eternal rest."
