Now, most people were hoping for a new Metroid game from Retro Studios, and when Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze was revealed, there were fans who were disappointed. Whether you asked Retro Studios for a new Donkey Kong game or not, you got one anyway, and with it, you also got a great platformer to add to your small collection of Wii U games, seeing as though you dont have much to play (I kid). Tropical Freeze may not add anything entirely new to the table, but it is one of those games that does actually feel like a sequel rather than the same old, same old, like some other games, such as the New Super Mario Bros. series.
