Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are not uncommon in gaming, in February this year Origin, League of Legends, Steam and Battle.net was crippled by hackers. Yesterday Battle.net announced that they are once again at the mercy of a DDoS attack, targeting European servers. The attacks are disrupting European servers for Diablo, World of Warcraft, StarCraft and Hearthstone.
