Blane Humphries from TwoDashStash writes: Its not often we get to play a solid RTS game, if this preview is any indication about what to expect in the final game, RTS fans have a lot to look forward to in Meridian: New World. Elder Games shows that there is still life left in the RTS genre. Tarsoly has done a fantastic job of combining RTS gameplay with RPG character progression in a sleek and polished package; while putting his own spin on traditional RTS game mechanics that dont deviate too far the core game that RTS fans have come to love from the genre. I should point out the game is still in Alpha, so everything is still in development or can change by the time the final product is released, but this preview has gotten me really excited to see the future of this game.
