History-spanning real time strategy title Rise of Nations will be appearing on Steam in Extended Edition form next month. Previously owned by 38 Studios, the Rise of IP was purchased by an unknown party during 38s liquidation sale. Turns out Microsoft snapped it up and gave it Skybox Labs (the same people behind Age of Mythology: Extended Edition.)
