State of Decay is one of those games I know I'm going to be playing for a while, in spite of its many and significant flaws. There's a richness to Undead Labs' open world you don't often see in an Xbox Live Arcade release - households are cluttered with loose objects, forests beetle over with lovely autumn vegetation, and the human beings you'll meet have reasonably in-depth back-stories that determine their usefulness.
