'Mad Max' Is About To Have A Serious 'Metal Gear Solid 5' Problem

Forbes:
If youve been reading video game blogs, or viewing their advertisements, it would be pretty hard to miss the fact that Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain comes out on Tuesday. Its got a few things going for it, coverage-wise. Its what looks like the last true installment in one of the most beloved franchises in videogames, it comes dogged with various sorts of controversy and, to boot, reviewers have been giving it near-perfect scores. Metal Gear Solid 5 is the game thats here to kick off the fall release seasons, and its doing so with quite a lot of fanfare. But its not the only dust-oriented open world action game! WB and Avalanches adaptation of Mad Max is also coming out on Tuesday, but it risks getting completely overshadowed by its competition.

GE writes: "When I first heard of minecraft from my younger brother, I snorted a response along the lines of it sounds like rubbish, why would I want to put badly designed blocks together continuously when I can play something with more of a story?
About a year went on and a friend of mine was playing so I decided to give it a go. It may be my inner creative side to me that I barely knew existed, but strangely enough, I was hooked."

| Announcement About Old Gen Editions of Mortal Kombat X
Added: 28.08.2015 23:18 | 40 views | 0 comments
"After months of development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has come to the regrettable conclusion that we cannot release Mortal Kombat X for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Please know our teams worked diligently to meet the quality standards set by the current-gen versions of the game. We were not able to get the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions to the quality expected of a Mortal Kombat game and are very sorry for not being able to deliver the products as originally planned.
If you pre-ordered Mortal Kombat X for PS3 or Xbox 360, please go to the retail location where you pre-ordered the game and you will receive a full refund."

Serena Nelson writes: "Until last week the last we heard from the Kitaru devs was almost a year ago. Several people, including myself, had finally written it off as a lost cause. About two months after I had written up a post mortem I got a message in my inbox telling me that development has been continuing, albeit at a snails pace due to having lost valuable people on the team and taking time to learn how to code. While I'd have loved to have heard this news much earlier than this at least we now know why there was radio silence and that the game is still on track to being finished. And we finally have a short, although in rough alpha state with low polygon count, demo to play in."
