Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk PS3 Review (GamingBolt)

Added: 14.04.2013 15:18 | 14 views | 0 comments

GB: "Atelier Ayesha: The Alchemist of Dusk is a PlayStation 3 exclusive Japanese RPG from GUST. Alchemist of Dusk is the fourteenth title in the Atelier series. However, the story is completely separate and it is not a sequel. It features completely new characters, story and continues on with its deep crafting system that the series is well known for. I personally have not played any of the previous games in the series so I will be judging this game based of what I have experienced. As always I will discuss the presentation of the game, gameplay, trophies and final verdict."

This game isnt terrible but its not great either.

Thinly glued together by shards of almost-compelling gameplay and frequently insignificant story events, this Japanese RPG takes its first steps in delivering a charming slice-of-life, peppered with potentially addictive, deep game mechanics. But rather than mine the lucrative pleasures of the JRPG genre, rich with its detailed environments, expansive dungeons and gripping pace, Atelier Ayesha focuses the majority of its efforts on cute girls and short dresses.
