Aliens Drive Me Crazy is a destructive affair. One where the nature of turning aliens into roadkill, driving wrecklessly through neighborhood homes, and gunning down aliens could not feel anymore satisfying. I mean, theyre aliens right? They have no soul.

The first game I played was Titans Attacks, a game that is a lot like a modern version of Galaga or Space Invaders. However unlike its these arcade classics there are more game play elements, such ship upgrades and new weapons. The story of Titan Attacks is very simple. Aliens have invaded and you are the one to defend the solar system. Simple and yet filled with feelings of nostalgia. For those who do not remember the the likes of Galaga or Space Invaders, you will still have fun with this game as it has quite a bit to offer. Whilst playing the game I was told that the initial starting levels, so elegantly called Earth are in fact based on Basingstoke. This was because the games lead developer worked there and said that, if aliens invaded Earth that he would think Basingstoke would be where they would start."

According to Gearbox Software's Brian Thomas, cinematic director for Aliens: Colonial Marines, human beings need to be taught the art of being nice to each other. "One of my degrees is in Political Science, and I had a Political Polling professor tell us that his number one rule was that angry people have the easiest time talking to you," he explained to me at a recent preview event, discussing certain tempestuous responses to the game's interpretation of Alien lore. "Because it's a really easy thing to grasp and articulate, usually in a curse towards you. Positivity is a harder thing to grasp, because we're not trained to actively go to another person and say something positive to them unprompted."

It was a late announcement for EGX Rezzed 2014, but one of my personal favourites at the expo, for the simple reason that youre saving the planet from Aliens with exploding animals. For the purpose of this preview, I played it on Playstation 4.
