The D.I.C.E. Awards are taking place tonight in Las Vegas, where winners for Game of the Year, Mobile Game of the Year, RPG of the Year, and more will be handed out during an event hosted by comedian Pete Holmes.

Because humor and wit so often rely on verbal set-ups and punchlines, text-heavy adventure games offer an appealing laugh delivery system. The player has to read, after all, and may take the time to appreciate a well-written joke, satire, or insightful comment. Unfortunately, though, humor is subjective and mercilessly difficult to pull off well. Get it wrong and a game can lurch from promising to painful."

The game has the same aesthetic style, feel, and very similar game-play however it just not from the same developer. For a game like this to work it needs to have a very intriguing story-line with great acting otherwise you will lose interest very quickly. And, so far, the story is some-what interesting and the voice acting is sufficient, but, oh my, the writing is face-palm worthy."
