Nintendo of Japan have taken to Miiverse to reconfirm that Mario Kart 8s second wave of DLC is still on track for its previously announced May release date and that development is nearing completion. This second wave of DLC is set to add Isabelle, Villager from Animal Crossing as well as Dry Bowser as new playable characters. There will also be a total of eight new courses spread over two cups (the leaf and the cat-bell cups) featuring levels based on Animal Crossing more. Finally there will also be four new vehicles but these are yet to be revealed.
