Assassin's Creed Unity - Xbox One Review | Chalgyr's Game Room

Added: 09.12.2014 14:11 | 5 views | 0 comments

Chalgyr's Game Room writes: Assassin's Creed: Unity is Ubisoft's first foray into next generation-only territory with the Assassin's Creed franchise and while it has been met with plenty of criticism, their push into next-gen territory is not a wholly unpleasant experience. Following the steps of Arno during the French Revolution, you will take on your old nemesis the Knights Templar through a memory-diving device called Animus created by Abstergo Industries. As you go "back in time," you will be tasked with preventing (or accomplishing) the bad guys from doing bad things, which is pretty typical. For those new to the series, which would be no small feat, you will be free-running through a densely populated Versailles and Paris, brushing up against dozens upon dozens of people as you work to chase down targets or escape the ever-present and extremely vigilant guardsmen. Putting aside the initials troubles that Unity had which were largely addressed by a nearly-1GB patch.

Alex Walker: Out of everything from E3 this year, the one game that all my friends and many people on the forums here were unabashedly excited for was Rainbow Six: Siege. It certainly helps that I have a lot of Counter-Strike and Call of Duty fans. I dont know if theyd have been as keen if it was a sequel to Animal Crossing or something.

It's a bit of a mish-mash between Animal Crossing and a Japanese RPG. But it's a little bit unfocused at the same time. Still, a nice adventure to be a part of.

In Defence of Tom Nook

Added: 02.12.2014 11:11 | 10 views | 0 comments

Rhys from Awesome Games writes: 'Ah, Mr. Thomas Bellbags Nook. To many, hes the primary antagonist of Animal Crossing, tainting villages with his capitalist agenda and ability to throw you into crippling debt at the drop of a hat. The resentment for this business minded raccoon is so strong in some, that even the obnoxious Mr. Resetti and legitimate burglar Crazy Redd are often seen as saints compared to him.'
