| Redout Announcement Trailer (HD)
Added: 10.03.2015 11:29 | 12 views | 0 comments
Coming Q3 2015 on Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC.
Redout is a tribute to the old racing monsters such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage, and POD. No bollocks: get in the ship and slam that throttle. Youre in for an uncompromising, fast, tough and satisfying driving experience, soaked in that vertigo that stands at the core of the arcade racing genre.
Think you know the meaning of fast? We challenge you. From the first moment, you will feel the enormous amount of power coming from your engine. Hovering a few meters above the ground going over 800 km/h is no piece of cake. Theres no racing on rails here: each input will apply a physical force to your ship. This means you will feel every turn and every twist in the track.
A sharp low-poly style blends meshes and terrains with the latest state-of-the-art shading and lighting effects provided by the Unreal Engine 4, creating beautiful and instantly recognisable aesthetics. From dirty suburban environments, to eerie frozen landscapes, to vast desert plains, get ready for some seriously fast action in some seriously beautiful environments.
Key Features
Career mode. Race against the AI, climb the ranks and upgrade your hovership.
5 racing teams, each featuring a hovership with unique driving traits.

TTP:" Striker Arena is an interesting but flawed mix between sports and strategy games. The basic gameplay mechanics work rather nicely but the lack of actual strategic options and the weird Story Mode progression mechanics are flaws hard to overlook, as they make the game less enjoyable. Some tweaks here and there would have made Striker Arena live up to its potential."

| Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena Mixes Twin Stick Shooters and MOBAs
Added: 28.02.2015 19:27 | 6 views | 0 comments
Games Workshop and developer Whitebox Interactive have announced Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus Arena, a new multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Whitebox Interactive describes the game as a blend of the twin stick shooter and MOBA genres. Players will go into battles in teams of four, choosing "Veteran warriors" from the Space Marine, Ork, and Tay factions. Players will also be able to customize their characters with different wargrear and special abilities. Eldar, Dark Eldar, Chaos Space Marines and other factions you'll recognize from the original tabletop game or many of its video game adaptations will be added to Dark Nexus Arena in the future. Whitebox Interactive says that it's been working on the game since 2012, even before it officially partnered with Games Workshop, which owns the right to Warhammer 40,000. "We are thrilled to be working with Games Workshop to launch the first MOBA in the Warhammer 40,000 universe," CEO of Whitebox Interactive Jonathan Falkowski said. "We are hard-core MOBA players with a shared passion for the Warhammer 40,000 intellectual property here at Whitebox. Our aim is to deliver a highly-polished experience that a player of any skill level can step into and find success and enjoyment." Warhammer 40,000: Dark Nexus is set to launch on in 2016.
