At last, Star Wars: The Old Republic will be gaining a story-based expansion. BioWare announced the expansion, which is called Knights of the Fallen Empire, on the stage of their E3 2015 press conference. BioWare stated that the expansion will feature the hallmarks of previous BioWare games, such as dialogue choices that shape your personal story as well as the world around you. Knights of the Fallen Empire will feature new explorable worlds, a new enemy faction, and new companions. An accompanying trailer depicted a troubled history between two apparent twin brothers, representing the dark and light sides of The Force. Star Wars: The Old Republic - Knights of the Fallen Empire is scheduled to be released on October 27, 2015, and will be free to all SWTOR subscribers.
