Mr Biffo writes: So, Ken Levine - lovely Ken Levine, creator of Bioshock - is apparently working on a game that is going to treat video game narrative and character in a whole new way. Speaking to GameInformer, here's what he had to honk: "The whole system that I came up with, and that were developing, is based upon the fact that to make an interesting character, you have to have a character who has a bunch of passions, wants, and needs. "The player now has the ability to facilitate those wants or needs or go against those wants or needs or ignore those wants or needs."

Puzzle-platformer Clockwork revealed for Xbox One

Get your cogs in gear, it's puzzle time.
Steampunk is the new black. There's something really appealing about the mix of Victorian gentlemen, clockwork, brass and fantastic moustaches that keeps game designers coming back. The Order 1886, Dishonored, Thief, Myst, Bioshock Infinite, Pathologic, Steamworld Dig - all set in various incarnations of that lovely steampunk world. Is it a sign of the times? Yes, definitely. We all wish that we were gloriously moustachioed robots. Who doesn't?
