DT - "As the eldest of three, there have been more than a few occasions in my life where I wished my siblings would just disappear. Whether it was from them breaking my things; disrupting my privacy; or as I grew older, the embarrassment they caused me in front of any girl I brought over to the house, its hard not to miss the days where I was, without question, my parents favorite kid."

Like many older siblings, Max is easily annoyed by his younger brother, Felix. Its not just that hes loud and obnoxious, though; hes always ruining Maxs things without thinking about the repercussions of his actions. Essentially, hes a young kid having fun, but that doesnt bode well with his brother, whos aged past that stage and has become a bit more mature. So, Max comes up with a plan and decides to wish away his younger sibling, without thinking that anything will actually happen. However, he makes a vital mistake by looking up and reading a strange spell from the Internet, which ends up sending Felix to another dimension, where hes put in terrible danger.

DC - "A side-scrolling, physics-based platformer with puzzles, Max's adventure lands exclusively on the Xbox One and 360 via download-only.
Max: The Curse of Brotherhood (MCB) was one of those games that took me on a bit of a roller coaster in terms of how much I enjoyed it throughout the seven or so hours it took to get through. I thought the story, while familiar, was perfectly sufficient."

VGS: 'Assassins Creed: Brotherhood launched in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and later for PC. Three versions were available: the regular one, the Collectors Edition and the Codex Edition, which was the most expensive version, and the one shown in this article.'

I love writing reviews where I can sing the praises of an obscure game and help it get the attention it deserves. This is not one of those reviews.

OXM -
"The first thing you'll notice about Max is that he jumps funny. There's an unsettling airiness to his leap, that makes you worry that The Curse of Brotherhood has fallen foul of the debilitating Little Big Planet Syndrome - the condition by which otherwise lovely games become as much fun as chewing a scarf.
But don't worry - Max isn't a platformer that demands jumping precision, so it never interferes with the game. And by the the third chapter, you'll have gotten used to his peculiar arcs."

When Max comes home to find his little brother, Felix, playing (rather aggressively) with Maxs toys, Max reaches his last straw and decides to run a web search on How to make your brother disappear! He finds an incantation that, when recited, summons a portal and seconds later Felix is gone.
Max has a rather instantaneous change of heart and jumps in after Felix and his monster captor. This brief cutscene is all you get before jumping into Maxs beautiful adventure. The gameplay starts soon after and has you control Max in an effort to bravely acquire Felix from the evil kidnapper that has claimed him, the mustachioed Mustacho.
