Why Destiny may have been judged too harshly

Nerd Reactor: It seems like Bungie listened to what players wanted and kept that in mind. One cannot help but think what may have come of the game if it launched with what we have today, but I am curious to see how the game evolves over the next year.

Bungie says theres no 10 year plan for Destiny

GR: "It may have better player numbers than ever and a new expansion in the form of The Taken King, but once upon a time, Destiny was a hush-hush new property behind closed doors at Activision and Bungie. Then along came a legal dispute between Activision and Infinity Ward that revealed information on a mysterious decade long, $140 million, four-game-plus-four-expansions setup that was set to form a core part of the publisher's future strategy. Of course, with its incredible budget and already expanding library, Destiny was clearly that game, but what of that fabled 'ten-year plan'? Was there any truth to it or was it just an old detail on an outdated design brief?"
