Destiny's DLC Fiasco And Apology Is Insulting

Destiny has had a pretty turbulent first year on the market, specifically in the area of its downloadable content and the price tag attached to it. Up to this point, Ive done my best to give the teams at Bungie and Activision the benefit of the doubt that decisions were not being driven solely by the desire to make a quick buck. With this latest DLC fiasco, though, I find myself firmly planted in the opposite corner.

Earlier in the week Bungie suffered minor fan backlash when they initially announced that certain in-game items, such as class items, emotes and shaders, would only be available to those who purchased a special collectors edition of the game that came bundled with the DLC, meaning that current owners of the title would have to double dip in order to gain access to everything.
