Dealspwn writes: What a difference a week makes for Assassin's Creed Rogue. Last week this was a tenner more expensive at most sites. Since then, I've finished the game (it's a bit great) and it's seen a generous discount. Head on over to this site and you can use a voucher code to get an additional 10% off. To get the code to work, you may need to sign up with a fresh email address. Note: You can use the code on multiple games in the same transaction, so keep an eye out for our other deals to get some more hot prices.
Rogue is a follow-up to last year's Black Flag. Compared to Unity, this is a masterpeice. The combat's not broken, there's a rich and varied world to explore and yes, ruddy big pirate ships are back in. If you had fun with Captain Kenway, you should snap this one right up.

My Nintendo News: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker marks the very first time Captain Toad and Toadette are the stars of their very own adventure. Its straightforward narrative begins when Toadette is whisked away by a giant bird named Wingo, serving as the main motive for Captain Toad to set off on on epic hunt for treasure. The roles are reversed later on, giving players a chance to take control of Captain Toads pink pig-tailed doppelganger. Treasure Tracker is essentially a puzzle-solving title with platforming elements. Each course was designed as a mini maze in which collectibles and hidden objects are featured and enemies roam.

Nintendojo: The history of how Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker came to exist is incredibly fascinating. The games director, Shinya Hiratake, had initially conceptualized the game with Link as its star. Since the gameplay was meant to center around a character who couldnt jump, Link, who jumps very rarely in his adventures, would have been a perfect fit. Nintendo ultimately passed on the idea, but it wasnt forgotten. When it came time to develop Super Mario 3D World, Nintendo opted to take Hiratakes vision and implement it as a series of sub-levels starring Captain Toad from the Super Mario Galaxy games. The sub-levels were such a resounding success, Nintendo decided to finally let Hiratake develop his concept into an entire standalone title a title that is easily right up there with the best games on Wii U.

Arcade Sushi: After years of playing second banana to Princess Peach and the Mario Brothers, the Toads have gone and nabbed themselves starring roles in Captain Toads Treasure Tracker. The delightful action-puzzle game for the Wii U is more fun than a barrel of monkeys and as gentle as a hand rocking a babys cradle.

Pocket-lint: It's tricky to characterise the story the Nintendo Wii U as anything but a sad one, at least if you're a Nintendo fan. There's nothing wrong with the console per se, but it has taken an age for the Japanese company to provide it with a credible library of games. Something that now, as we move into 2015, it has succeeded by adding titles like Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to the swathe of other Nintendo franchise titles over the last year.
