Wolfenstein: The Old Blood Review | Frugal Gaming

The Old Blood looks fantastic.
Castle Wolfenstein is wonderfully presented, at first, from a cable car in all its glory and then the internal locations offer up a number of different areas to see from a prison to catacombs and a library.

Castle Pyramid - If major publishers and developers have been too scared to gamble on a game featuring dinosaurs, then they should take some hints from No Mans Sky and ARK: Survival Evolved. While No Mans Sky impressed us with its vast scope, and ability to transition from ground exploration to space exploration seamlessly, seeing those dinosaur-like creatures was also something that sparked interest. ARK: Survival Evolved has also turned heads for its impressive graphics but also because it features dinosaurs. So how has that interest panned out for the indie developer? Studio Wildcard has stated that ARK: Survival Evolved has sold over 200,000 copies within its first 48 of release on Steam Early Access.

| Two Months after Release WB Games Announces Shutting Down of Infinite Crisis MOBA
Added: 02.06.2015 19:16 | 16 views | 0 comments
Castle Pyramid - When it comes to making money, the MOBA genre offers a lot of possibilities when judging it by the success of League of Legends and Dota 2. So it isnt surprising, though somewhat annoying, that many developers decided to rush in and create their own MOBAs in order to get a piece of the pie. For some, their attempt to get into the market hasnt been stellar with some games falling to the wayside. But the latest game comes as a surprise with WB Games announcing that it is shutting down its DC Comics-based MOBA Infinite Crisis.

FilmGamesEtc -After the critical success of MachineGames 2014 title Wolfenstein: The New Order, which took players on an alternate-history romp through a different kind of Nazi regime in 1960s Europe, Wolfenstein: The Old Blood seeks to return the series to its roots of World War II. The standalone expansion has you play as series protagonist Agent William Joseph BJ Blazkowicz as you, once again, fight through 1940s war-torn Nazi Germany in an attempt to infiltrate Castle Wolfenstein and disrupt the plans of Nazi archeologist Helga Von Schabbs.

Castle Pyramid - It has been a while since I last played a Pokemon game. In fact, I havent played one since Pokemon Gold and Silver came out back in 1999. Since then, I have been looking for a similar kind of game for the PC platform. Enter Moonrise, a 3D real-time tactical creature battler that recently launched for Steam Early Access.

| Dota 2 Block My Effigy Conundrum

Castle Pyramid - There are a lot of things I love about Dota 2. It requires quite a bit of skill to be proficient at, the denying of creeps, and assortment of Heroes are just some of the things that make this a fantastic game (and all of the Heroes are free). I also enjoy all of the digital skins for the various Heroes which allows me to customize their looks. But last year, Valve introduced a new way for players to customize the players base with the introduction of the Effigy Block. So for a while, I have been wondering what Hero I should choose for my effigy.
