"It is such a shame that the Lords of Shadow series had to conclude in such a way, but if you are a fan of the Castlevania series then this is still worth playing, just wait for a price drop first." This is an extract from AMHNetwork's review of Lords of Shadow 2... Agree with their thoughts?

Strider Review - Gamer Chatter

The game is a jolly good time. The game mechanics are very solid in the classic side scrolling platform style. It harkens back to the Mega Man or Castlevania play styles. The combat is dynamic and entertaining. There will be power ups for the weapon that will affect some enemies better than others. Players can button mash and get through just fine, but it also has teresting moves that will reward players who can master them. These moves will be necessary in order to beat more of the harder difficulties.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 Review | PixelPerfectGaming

Lords of Shadow 2 shines the most when it panders to the Castlevania fan base. The castle sequences are abundant and contain a healthy does of action and platforming. The combat is rock-solid as you battle flesh-eating beasts, giants wielding war hammers, and spear-wielding harpies. Bosses like Medusa make their return (in rare form I might add) and they are challenging to say the very least. In spectacular fashion, some bosses require you to climb onto their massive bodies to gouge out their eyes and tear out their tongues to gain the advantage. Its a bloody affair that only a Castlevania game can deliver. And while the stealth sequences are LOS 2s Achilles heel, the aforementioned castle sequences make up for it.

Review: Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 - Revelations | Rely on Horror

Added: 27.03.2014 13:16 | 0 views | 0 comments

Rely on Horror: "It has come to an end. Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2s Revelations DLC is the final Castlevania offering from MercurySteam, before they move on to tackle another series in Konamis portfolio (Contra?!). Revelations stars none other than Alucard himself. Fans are ecstatic to control the son of Dracula once more, especially this version, which I find to be better than the original timelines. So the question is: Is this a symphony worth spending your night experiencing?"
