Gareth From WASDuk Review LIfe is Strange Episode 3
"I have to say that Chaos Theory is easily my favourite episode of Life is Strange to date. In fact Id even go so far as to say its a far better rounded experience than its predecessors, well mostly. At this point there are certain elements that no amount of time manipulation is going to change. Most of the games younger cast are still insufferable douchebags and meme spouting gobs*****; with the notable exception of Chloe who has somehow grown on me despite being the most self-centred of the bunch. Most disappointingly though Max is still, just awful. Shes vapid, shes dull and I hope she suffers the same fate as Ashton Kutcher in the Directors Cut of the Butterfly Effect."

Drew Leachman writes: I enjoyed the past two episodes of Life is Strange. They were decently acted, had an interesting premise, and really made me think about the decisions I was making. The time mechanic was never really a gimmick, and the ending to episode 2 was very intense and very moving. While I was happy with what Dontnod had done, I was still feeling a bit of a disconnect. Now that I have played through episode 3, I am on board with this series in so many ways, and I firmly believe that people out there need to play this game.

Marcus Estrada writes: "If you somehow missed out on it, Catlateral Damage is the weirdly wonderful game where you get to play as a cat. Not only that, but as a cat you're expected to destroy as much as possible in every environment.
You can select from any variety of cute, cuddly cats and then wreak havoc on otherwise placid domestic environments. It's a great concept, but perhaps a bit too real for those of us with pet cats."

Going back and watching old TV series, you realise how awkward those first few establishing episodes were, before the actors fell into their characters and the writers got to grips with what works and what doesnt. Life is Strange felt a little like that to begin with, but Im happy to say that Chaos Theory represents DONTNOD hitting their stride.

Chaos Theory cant escape the shadow of its superior predecessor, but thats not to say its a bad experience. Once you power through the dull fetch quests and irritating Chloe Time, it manages to provide some powerful moments and the best ending of any episode so far.
