With nitrous injection and twin GMC V6 engines to power it, Elvis boasts the top acceleration of the war rig convoy. Not bad for the ghost of a three-window coupe.

The Holden EH Station Wagon was a popular Australian car in the 1960s, but after the apocalypse, it was necessary to outfit it with a hydraulic plough and an off-road frame.

Punch buggy brown! The first thing that jumps out about this rugged Volkswagen monstrosity is those fuel barrels attached to the side, perfectly engineered to spew flames into the face of any bloodthirsty fugitive daft enough to come near.

3. The Peacemaker

The Peacemaker belongs to the Bullet Farmer, and it's another piece of classic Mad Max iconography. This vicious vehicle looks like a roadster mashed up with some makeshift tank tracks.

2. The Gigahorse

The Gigahorse is like the conjoined twins of Cadillac Coupe DeVilles. They're both carried aloft on the chassis of a giant monster truck with two massive V-8 engines spilling forth from its intestines. It's truly the stuff of nightmares.

If Beetlejuice drove a Plymouth sedan through a field of sand worms, we imagine it might look close to this. This nasty piece of work scavenges the desert hunting for the decaying flesh of dead animals, and it's officially the wildest we've seen so far from Fury Road.

SEGA recently announced that it will donate all the revenue from a collection of in-game purchases to recovery efforts stemming from the recent earthquake in Nepal. Four games will be involved, including Phantasy Star Online 2, Puyo Puyo!! Quest, Chain Chronicle, and Hortensia Saga. SEGA Games will also donate a separate sum of US$16,800, with Red Cross Japan as the administrator.

GTA V takes it's second straight number one in NZ. Highlights -Rockstar's ever popular Grand Theft Auto takes its second number one in as many weeks, following it's PC Release. -The Microsoft Edition of Minecraft is the better seller of the two SKU's, this week swapping spots with Mortal Kombat X, finishing second and third respectively. -Call Of Duty: Black Ops II returns to the charts for its second week, this time outselling Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare, the two titles finished in seventh and eighth. -In a similar vein, Battlefield 4 returns to the charts in nineth spot.

Cubed: As everyone these days is aware, Kickstarter is ever emerging as the new platform for old ideas. Chaos Reborn is no exception. For Julian Gollop, who was behind the 1985 ZX Spectrum Chaos: The Battle of Wizards, Kickstarter was the means to revive his old ideas for the 21st Century. As many titles have demonstrated in the past, there is definitely still a modern audience craving more niche titles, such as the ones Julian is renowned for, having, incidentally also been behind the original X-COM that has so recently had such a successful revamp. In March 2014, Chaos Reborn went up on Kickstarter with a goal of $180,000, which is easily met a month later, finishing with over $210,000. Now on Steam Early access, Cubed3 goes hands on with the title.
