Cities are abandoned and being reclaimed by nature. Remaining survivors are killing each other for food, weapons and whatever they can find. Joel, a ruthless survivor, and Ellie, a young teenage girl who's braver and wiser beyond her years, must work together to survive their journey across what remains of the United States.

My most anticipated release this week comes by way of The Behemoth. Castle Crashers, Alien Hominid... how can you go wrong with Battleblock Theater? We'll have our review up soon. We've also got extended coverage of Defiance this week, but let's get to the list:
Defiance (Xbox 360, PS3, PC) - April 2nd, 2013
Cities in Motion 2 (PC) - April 2nd, 2013
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (PS3) - April 2nd, 2013
Double Dragon II: Wander of the Dragons (Xbox 360) - April 5th, 2013
BattleBlock Theater (Xbox 360) - April 3rd, 2013
Evoland (PC) - April 4th, 2013
Super Black Bass 3D (3DS) - April 2nd, 2013
Capcom Arcade Cabinet: Game Pack 4 (Xbox 360, PS3) - April 3rd, 2013
Please, just give the demo version of BattleBlock Theater a download so you can try the game for yourself. I've never had more fun with a 2D platformer. Way back at PAX Prime 2011, I had fun killing PlayStation LifeStyle Editor Cameron Teague over and over and over again. It's the kind of good fun you can have that provides plenty of giggles, but also destroys friendships at the same time. What are you picking up this week? Is your wallet recovering from last week's Bioshock Infinite?

WC: Im just as excited as the rest of the world for the release of Grand Theft Auto V in September, and Ill certainly be picking it up . From the closing moments of the first trailer, I was intrigued by a return to Los Santos and the sprawling countryside, and it looks like a beautiful place to commit ugly deeds in. Whilst I have no doubt that Rockstar have crafted a typically brilliant piece of entertainment, I just cant shake the feeling that its repetition for its own sake better the devil you know. However, familiarity breeds contempt.
With that in mind, I thought Id give some thought as to where we might go afterwards. Its a big country, and there are plenty of options. In no particular order, here are some that might be contenders in the future.
