The aliens we were fighting were mocked and downplayed through the ease of an aim-and-shoot design philosophy, one that disregarded and insulted the intelligence of the organisms. I didnt dislike the game as much as some, I just felt it struggled to protect the lore of the aliens, an intelligent being that fans of the series have come to respect.
