"Bioshock Infinite is a hard game to judge. Do I critique it based off the original Bioshock, or as a stand alone entity? Certainly Bioshock was one of the most influential games of the last ten years, and fact has to be taken into consideration. Infinites comments on politics, religion and racemajor aspects of the experienceare also worthy of their own separate articles. Let us not forget the violence debate surrounding the game and whether or not the ending is a logical and satisfactory conclusion.
Bear with me as I attempt to cram all this into one review.
As Infinites protagonist Booker DeWitt enters the sky-city of Columbia for the first time, I can safely say you will be in awe. An example of extreme American exceptionialism, the bright colors and early 1900s aesthetic make Columbia one of the most imaginative, beautiful and disturbing videogame settings in recent memoryeven more so, dare I say, than Bioshocks underwater city of Rapture."

TruTechNoid Write's
"Bioshock Infinite is an original FPS with a colourful world that puts all FPSS to shame. The graphics are without a doubt some of the best I have ever seen, and I spent hours just exploring the vibrant and perfectly detailed vintage world. Infinite is not a direct sequel/prequel to any of the Bioshock games, although it does hold similarities to its preprocessors game play. The year is 1912 and you play Booker Dewitt a former Pinkerton agent sent to the sky city Columbia to rescue a young girl named Elizabeth. Once there, exploration is key, with tonnes of collectables, items and wonderful scenery, it took me a good few hours to get through the first area as I was looking at everything and everyone."

GamesBeat spotted a bunch and collected them in the gallery below. Did we miss any? Irrational Games developed both titles, so many different connections are possible."
