To say there aren't many good RPGs on mobile devices would be a bit of an exaggeration. What would be slightly more accurate is to say there aren't a ton of excellent RPGs made specifically for a phone or tablet. Mika Mobile helps make that less true with Battleheart Legacy, an attractive, challenging and deep fantasy role-playing experience that fits touchscreen devices like a glove -- or possibly a gauntlet, depending on how you customize your hero. There was, indeed, a previous Battleheart game from the same developer, but Battleheart Legacy is more spiritual successor than sequel. It begins the way many RPGs do, with a lone character in a small town destined for bigger and better things. The initial tasks that allow you to get your feet wet eventually give way to a quest to find the three shards of a Solar Crystal in order to claim a hefty reward from your king.

Will we finally see the studio's new IP?
The wording of Game Trailers' report specifically states that the developer will "make a new game announcement", suggesting it won't be the PS4/Xbox One Tomb Raider sequel announced last year.
Besides Tomb Raider, Crystal Dynamics has previously worked on Gex, Pandemonium and Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light. Could it be a sequel to one of those, or could we finally see the new IP Crystal's been cooking up for some time?
All will be revealed next week.

Square Enix has certainly had its ups and downs in recent years with their releases. Thankfully, Bravely Default is a high point for not only Square Enix, but for the Nintendo 3DS as well. Square-Enix is no stranger to the RPG genre, as they are the ones responsible time and time again for revolutionizing it with their Final Fantasy franchise. Like many Final Fantasy games, Bravely Default centers its story around a group of brave heroes who sets out on an adventure to save the world from a major apocalypse. In Default, the Wind Crystal is consumed in a dark energy, causing havoc on a town called Norende in the land of Luxendarc which gets swallowed up by the earth. Our group of heroes embarks on a journey to free the Wind Crystal in order to undo the damage and restore the world to its former glory before its too late.

 Sega has lifted the lid on a few more details regarding its upcoming Nintendo-exclusive Sonic games, which are set to arrive on 3DS and Wii U later this year.
Both the console and handheld entries have finally received official titles, sub-headings and all. The Wii U version will be called Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric while 3DS game will bear the Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal moniker.
