One Angry Gamer "If Intelligent Cube was dipped in some cute sauce, you would likely end up with Digital Tribe Games and Cochoarts Almightree: The Last Dreamer. The game is a puzzle platformer that borrows inspiration from both Super Mario and Intelligent Cube, forcing gamers to think fast and react fast."

| Mario History: Super Mario Sunshine - 2002

NL:
It was a bold move from Nintendo to launch the GameCube in 2001 without a Mario game. The tables were turned so that Mario's link to the launch was through new series Luigi's Mansion, putting the green half of the Mario Bros. in his first starring role. Super Mario Sunshine arrived the following year in 2002, six years after Super Mario 64 showed the world how 3D platformers should be done. No pressure then. Gamers eagerly waited to see what Shigeru Miyamoto had cooked up for this long awaited follow-up in the Mario series.

| What It's Like To Play Final Fantasy VI For The First Time
Added: 01.09.2015 8:17 | 24 views | 0 comments
Kotaku: Last night I started playing Final Fantasy VI, a video game about suplexing locomotives. I had never played it before.
Six hours later, I saved my game and stopped. A lot happened in that time. Lets decompress.
Yes, I missed out on Final Fantasy VI. Take a deep breath. I turned out fine. I didnt have any set-top game consoles growing up, so my video game playing was limited to PC games and a cherished handheld device or two. I didnt own an NES or a SNES, didnt have a GameCube or a PlayStation, and certainly never owned a Dreamcast. As a result, I was absent during the heyday of the Japanese role-playing game.
Its been fun catching up, though Ive had to do it in fits and starts over the last several years.

| Through the Looking Glass: Leisure Suit Larry in The Land of the Lounge Lizards

After getting nestled in the GameCube era for too long, I decide to go way back and take a look at the first Leisure Suit Larry title. I go through some of the mechanics of the game, and also look at the issue of Larry's blatant misogyny. I also look at whether Leisure Suit Larry deserved to be labeled as a misogynistic game because of his heavy-handed advances towards women.

Come for the fun but flawed single player, stay for the surprisingly good multiplayer (if more people start playing, that is).
