Plus XP contributor CJ writes: "One of the true joys of games critique is delving into titles I may normally not look at; titles to which I might have pre-conceived ideas, or have played something similar and disliked. In this case, Im really not that hot at isometric strategy stuff.
Years back I played the highly revered Final Fantasy Tactics: War Of The Lions and didnt get on that well with it. I adored the art style, cutscenes, everything except the game - and I oh-so-wanted-to-love-the-game - but I really wasnt good at it at all."

GIZORAMA - Disgaea is a franchise that holds a special place in the hearts of many. For 10 years developer Nippon Ichi Software has been contributing to the hardcore tactics JRPG market and, for the most part, with resounding success. However when Disgaea first graced the shelves back in 2003 (2004 in Europe) it brought with it a cast of characters that many-a-fan would miss dearly over the coming years. The tale of the Demon Overlords son Laharl and his merry band of misfits deservedly became a shining example of the series best narrative work. Despite some great work in the many spin-offs, remakes and sequels, as the years past fans began to wonder if Laharl and his friends would ever return for another adventure. However fear not as Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness is upon us and its more than just a 10 year anniversary celebration. The old trio have finally returned and they have brought with them arguably the best Disgaea game so far.

GearNuke: "The Disgaea series has always held a special place in my heart. With a penchant for quirky characters, wacky humor and some of the deepest SRPG gameplay mechanics, Disgaea has managed to create a niche for itself over the years. The newest entry in the series, Disgaea D2, attempts to take a crack at the mainstream."

Poker is one of the world’s most popular card games, so chances are you already know the rules of Texas Hold ‘Em and Omaha, which are the two gameplay types in Poker Night 2. The twist in Telltale’s version is that your opponents are memorable characters from other video games and movies like Borderlands’ ever-lovable jack-ass robot Claptrap, Ash from Army of Darkness and doggy detective Sam from the Sam & Max. Best of all, your dealer throughout the game is none other than Portal’s GLaDOS.
