Filmmakers Still Dont Understand Video Games

Added: 09.05.2015 5:17 | 8 views | 0 comments

Vice: Video games have cameoed in movies and television to great effect in the past. Think of Wild Gunman in Back to the Future II, or fictional titles like the Mortal Kombat-aping Bonestorm in The Simpsons and Red Dwarf's virtual reality nightmare, Better Than Life. Before you head to the comments to tell me I "forgot" Scott and Knives acing Ninja Ninja Revolution, or David OReilly's potty mouthed NPC in Her, or Big's The Cavern of the Evil Wizard, I really haven't. Now, game director Sefton Hill has confirmed on Twitter who it is so, if you want to be surprised, beware potential spoilers follow for the events of the DLC and possibly main game.

Added: 07.05.2015 1:17 | 17 views | 0 comments

Marcus Estrada writes: "Did you love the series of Star Wars: X-Wing games in the 90s? You aren't alone - tons of folks absolutely adored those space simulation games. Even if they lacked the Star Wars association they would still completely awesome experiences! That's what Impeller Studios is hoping for with the launch of their Kickstarter for Starfighter Inc. Although it cannot be X-Wing in name, it is most definitely channeling the spirit of X-Wing. Heck, original series designer David Wessman is on board alongside tons of other great team members."
