Examiner's David Leavitt writes:
"Following yesterday's news that Magic: The Gathering is going free to play in Magic Duels: Origins on Xbox One, today March 4, 2015 Examiner.com received an email with additional information about the upcoming video game. Magic Duels: Orgins is the "successor to Wizards of the Coast's incredibly popular Duels of the Planeswalkers franchise. Magic Duels: Origins will be available on "Xbox One, PC via Steam, and iPad tablets, with PlayStation 4 joining later this year." That's huge news for PlayStation 4 owners, who were completely passed over in 2014 when Magic 2015 only released only on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles."

The person who heads up Frontier Developments is David Braben, the game developer who gave the world the acclaimed 1980s 3D space title Elite. Although that game has seldom been too far away from the heart of Frontier (Elite: Dangerous is the latest incarnation), the company has also made a name for itself with a string of theme park games, most notably the RollerCoaster Tycoon series and Thrillville.
