Football Manager expert helps BBC on transfer deadline day

Added: 03.02.2015 15:15 | 2 views | 0 comments

GR-UK writes: "Twice a season there's a transfer deadline day, where the media goes into a frenzy and players move clubs all across Europe. It's a day of intense speculation, manufactured drama, and transfers - lots and lots of transfers. "Yesterday was one such day, and as per usual the BBC had a liveblog detailing the rumours and deals that were struck up and down the country (and even further afield). In amongst the twitter posts, opinion and quotes from players and managers, there were updates from a couple of people you might not have expected to see on BBC Sport liveblog. "Alex Stewart and David Bytheway are, first and foremost, football fans. Both also are expert gamers, with Bytheway a renowned FIFA player, and Stewart hugely knowledgable when it comes to Sports Interactive's Football Manager series."

Life is Strange: Episode 1 Review (GameWatcher)

Added: 03.02.2015 11:10 | 1 views | 0 comments

From GameWatcher.com: "Interactive stories, or neo-point-and-clicks if you prefer, are having quite the renaissance, arent they? David Cage and Telltale have had more than their fair share of the pie already, now Square Enix are publishing them too. Life is Strange focuses on the life of a teenage girl at a prestigious arts college in the US who discovers she can rewind time. Stylistically, this really isnt my thing at all (honest), but theres something about it which sucked me right in. Its kind of rare these days that a game keeps you wanting to press on all the way from start till finish, but Life is Strange had that magic little x-factor for me; in the first episode, at least."
