Added: 08.01.2015 6:14 | 10 views | 0 comments
Like all modern Bioware games, Dragon Age: Inquisition gives players the option to choose from a wide selection of computer-controlled characters which they can romance. To date, all of these in-game relationships have depicted fairly healthy courtships. However, Dragon Age: Inquisition lead writer David Gaider recently sent a sarcastic message about adding an unhealthy relationship in the future of the Dragon Age franchise.
The comment sparked a controversy after many Dragon Age: Inquisition fans felt that the statement was making fun of abuse victims. Hoping to clarify the intent of his tweet, Gaider posted a lengthy clarification.
"I should know by now that some would read to it. In this case, they evidently believed I was mocking abuse and rape survivorswhich was not the case, and for those who saw it that way I do sincerely apologize."

Adam Shepherd writes: "Frontier Developments funded Elite: Dangerous almost exclusively through Kickstarter, released an easily accessible beta as early as possible complete with dev diaries and insanely regular updates, and generally tried their damndest to include consumers as much as possible.
Compared to the failures perpetrated by the likes of Ubisoft and EA, they couldn't have done more to achieve consumer satisfaction, short of David Braben hand-delivering every copy with a complimentary blowjob. And the best thing is, on top of all that, it's a bloody fantastic game."
