When it comes to great video game art, few do it as well as Blizzard Entertainment. Each of its franchises, from Diablo to Warcraft, have a distinct and compelling vibe. Their great character design is particularly highlighted in the recently released Heroes of the Storm.

Blizzard has hired artists Smug, Hicks, and Captain Kris to draw a mural in downtown Los Angeles (Jesse St. & Imperial St.) which it calls Project Sprayhem. The mural, which stands more than 20 feet in height and is composed entirely of spray paint, includes more than a dozen popular Blizzard heroes including Diablo, Nova, and Arthas in true Heroes of the Storm fashion.

Today, after years in development, Heroes of the Storm has officially released. It's the first new Blizzard game to arrive since 2012's Diablo 3, and it's not only a great game but one that brings a completely new angle to the action RTS space.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Blizzard has generously supplied us with 500 Heroes of the Storm codes to give away. These codes will unlock not only support character Malfurion, but his Storm Mantle skin, a skin that makes the character look much cooler. Since I'm a Malfurion fan, I bought the skin during Closed Beta and can attest to its magnificence.

A new Star Wars game was announced today, an iOS/Android RPG from mobile game developer Kabam. The reveal trailer for Star Wars: Uprising can be viewed above.

The trailer doesn't show any gameplay, but a screenshot on the official website seems to suggest it's a top-down RPG much like a Diablo or Torchlight. In addition, players will be able to create their own special characters as they earn new skills and find equipment.
