Zombie Vikings Review | GameSpew

Emily at GameSpew writes: "Initially it was all about sparkling vampires, then werewolves and now zombies but Zombie Vikings? Those are two words I never thought Id hear together, especially when theyre included in the same game as Odin and his cheeky not-so-nipper, Loki. Sadly were not faced with Anthony Hopkins and Tom Hiddleston (mmm), but instead were given a fair performance by plenty of multi-skilled voice actors. Does it work as a whole though? This is the main question I asked."

The Drop:
What defines a human mind? What defines an artificial one? And what horrors emerge when you push them both to the breaking point? This week, sci-fi horror game Soma launches on PS4. Dont close your eyes.
Fueled by real-world science and abstract philosophies, Soma drops players into a twisted labyrinth of unspeakable horrors, broken thoughts, and creatures of unnatural origin. For gamers that want the latest in first-person horror storytelling, look no further.
And for those that scare easily (present company included), try the innovative platforming challenges in Extreme Exorcism, or the old-school dungeon-crawling in Heroes of Loot. For a full look at this weeks lineup, read on. And enjoy the Drop!

| What Does TGS 2015 Tell Us About PS4 in Japan?
Added: 21.09.2015 3:17 | 162 views | 0 comments
Push Square: "The PlayStation 4's been far from a flop in Japan since its launch last year, but it's failed to kick on in quite the way that we expected it to. The console's sold in fits and starts, with big releases like Dragon Quest Heroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain prompting numbers to increase only for them to shrink straight back down to the sorry status quo again. But platform holder Sony will be feeling confident this week, as all of the major Japanese publishers rally behind its box in an attempt to prolong the relevance of traditional gaming systems in the East."

When we looked at the state of Linux gaming after its 12-month Valve anniversary, we found nearly 1,000 professional, commercially distributed games available as of February 2015. But this weekend there's an even bigger numeric milestone to celebrate according to the Linux site Phoronix1,500 Linux titles are currently available through Steam.
The five most popular Linux titles for Steam include major developer offerings like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (the rest of the top five according to Phoronix includes ARK: Survival Evolved, Team Fortress 2, and Dota 2). And this summer, a small indie game called Don't Be Patchman even became the first Linux-exclusive launch on Steam.
