Added: 01.09.2015 3:18 | 4 views | 0 comments

GA: Does a game need to have likeable characters in order to be enjoyable? That's actually not a rhetorical question, by the way or at least not entirely. I ask it because your answer will most likely determine how much you enjoy Steins;Gate.

Don't Starve: Giant Edition Review | High-Def Digest

Levi van Tine - "Like its forebears, 'Dont Starve: Giant Edition' on the Xbox One is a delectable survival experience, and the included 'Reign of Giants' content does a great job of growing the experience. The game is tough, and the permadeath can be discouraging if you have spent several in-game weeks or months on an epic crafting bender, but it is worth the pain."

Serena Nelson writes: "It's hardly a secret that I'm a fan of horror games. I'm not talking about those gore fests where you're constantly up against a raving horde of undead or anything like that (although I won't deny that they can be fun at times). Nope, I'm talking about the more cerebral end of the spectrum. Supernatural and psychological tales have always fascinated me for some reason and I gobble them up like they were candy. Deliciously morbid candy. And Killmonday's Fran Bow falls squarely in that category. Which is why I couldn't wait to get my bloody mitts on the game."

id Software claim "you could spend years" with the new Doom game

Added: 31.08.2015 18:17 | 11 views | 0 comments

Considering it's not going to be a massive open-world RPG in the vein of The Witcher 3, these comments from id Software's executive producer Marty Stratton are fairly surprising. "Anybody who spends their money on the game is getting something that, literally, you could spend years with". How long do you spend with your favourite games? I don't think I've ever played a single game consistently for more than a year.

Before producer Doug Heder arrived to tell me about LEGO Dimensions' Adventure Worlds, the Warner Bros. Interactive rep was telling me about some of the game's Doctor Who features; particularly that your onscreen Doctor can be changed to any of the prior Doctors. However, if he dies, when he pops back up in regular LEGO fashion, he will "regenerate" as the next Doctor in the sequence.

Should Call of Duty Games Focus More On Historical War Events?

Added: 31.08.2015 14:17 | 48 views | 0 comments

Kelly from GamersFTW says: Call of Duty: Black Ops III is due out in just over a couple of months time and when I heard of its release back in April of this year, I did a little groan. Dont get me wrong, the game itself looks fantastic visually and I am sure fans of the series will no doubt find the new game exhilarating. But isnt it about time Call of Duty developers focused on bringing back the good ol First Person Shooter days of the likes of Call of Duty 1-3, World at War and Black Ops which were based on true historical events of past wartime?
