Tales from the Borderlands is the closest we have to a great video game movie

Eurogamer:
"It's a well known fact that most movies based on video games are rubbish. As it turns out, it's not an angry bald man with a red tie that made Hitman cool, but rather the feeling of pulling off the perfect simulated murder. It wasn't the nightmare nurses or occult story that made Silent Hill a hit, but the oppressive sense of dread as you navigated it twisted world. Doom wasn't amazing because of its demons on Mars, but rather because it let you obliterate said demons on Mars. There is one video game movie that gets this right, however, only we don't think about it as it's technically still a video game."

MyGaming: "So I just got falcon punched in the face by the biggest troll in gaming history, Hideo Kojima.
At a certain point in the game, a severely drastic situation will begin decimating your personnel.
I have written this article so that anyone playing this game can avoid this very debilitating tragedy, at the cost of a spoiler. Seriously, its worth reading on."

| MGSV: When Single Player is this Good, a Broken Online Aint no Thang

In between the unadulterated love that Antony and Darren cant stop themselves from bestowing upon Kojima Sans masterpiece, the question of Phantom Pain getting a free pass regarding the broken online aspect of the game is surprising. Especially when such an unstable connection would draw plenty of flak were it any other game. Does the sheer magic of the single player excuse this?
Antony continues his addiction with Disney Infinity 3.0 and assures us all he can quit at any time (as he pre-orders yet another figure!)
In the news section the Sparks' talk about the new Guinness World Records 2016 Gamers Edition and with the announcement of Ubi-land, have fun coming up with ideal gaming theme parks!!
Also discussed is yet another remastered release on the next gen consoles Castle Crashers. With this release, Gears of War: Ultimate and the upcoming Uncharted Collection, has the gaming industry turned a corner and finally started to do remasters right?

| Mad Max Review: We Dont Need Another Hero | WASDuk

WASDuk writes -
"Mad Max may not be the most original game, taking a similar tact to Last years Shadow of Mordor by creating a Frankensteins monster of gameplay elements from other titles, and then stitching them together into a cohesive whole. Its still an enjoyable experience with plenty to do. Ive been playing the game all week and Im still nowhere near finished. Even with the story complete, Im still left with camps to raid, totems to tear down and plenty of side missions to clear before I get to 100%.
