Dream Dev: Lack of Oculus DK2 Support for UDK 'very, very frustrating'
Added: 07.10.2014 22:12 | 35 views | 0 comments
VRFocus - Fans that are closely following the development of HyperSloth Games Dream know that, for the most part, development is progressing well. The title is currently on Steams Early Access service and heading towards a full launch hopefully later in the year. One area where the team has hit a wall however is with Dreams virtual reality (VR) support. The title already supports the Oculus Rift head-mounted displays (HMD) first development kit (DK1), but issues with Epic Games Unreal Development Kit are currently preventing support for the second kit (DK2).

One Angry Gamer "Being a game designer doesnt mean that your title will get a fair shake for exposure. A lot of titles largely go unnoticed and even more fall flat right out of the gate even after receiving a bit of promotional loving. In todays climate, gaming journalists only want to report on games that drive clicks, and games that obviously fall within the cliques circle of promotional amicability. One of the independent developers who isnt part of the clique and cant find a bit of coverage from the larger outlets is Cleril Calamity Studios."

Dale Morgan had a chance to take a look at Life is Strange, Dontnod's follow-up to last year's Remember Me, at EGX last week.
What he saw shows a lot of promise and demonstrates that developer isn't content with simply sitting on its laurels.
