| Blackguards 2 Review Satisfying Conquest I The Koalition
Added: 24.01.2015 19:10 | 7 views | 0 comments
Asad Quadri of The Koalition writes:
The Dark Eye is a universe thats ripe with potential for great video games. Much like its rival Dungeons Dragons, the lore contains an epic fantasy world full of adventure and excitement. As a role-playing game, the rules of TDE dictate how combat is played out, including rules for melee combat and magic, bringing tactics and strategy to play. Over time there have been video games based off The Dark Eye which explore the lore of the universe and where combat utilizes the rules et of TDE. One of these games was Blackguards, from developer Daedelic Entertainment. Blackguards was a dark, gritty turn-based strategy RPG where you would lead a team of social misfits into battle within a hostile and dangerous world. The game was met with mixed reception but thankfully, Daedelic listened well to the criticisms and have now come out with a sequel to the RPG: Blackguards 2.

| TouchArcade: 'Dungeons Of Chaos' Review - A Retro-Style CRPG With All That Implies
Added: 23.01.2015 0:10 | 5 views | 0 comments
TouchArcade: There's no two ways about it, sometimes an RPG fan just gets the urge to play a good, classic CRPG. While iOS offers plenty of options for the gamer who wants to revisit 90s CRPGs or early roguelikes, adventures that recapture the 1980s era of Ultima and the SSI gold box games are a bit harder to come by. Fortunately, we've seen a few developers try to fill the gap in recent times, and one such game is the iPad-only Dungeons Of Chaos [Free (HD) / $1.99 (HD)]. While it doesn't quite have the scope of some of the great games of old, it's certainly got the feeling down pat. For many, that might be a turn-off, but for some of you, and you probably know who you are, you're going to find this one hard to put down until you've finished it.
