Unepic Review | Mini Fortress

Added: 29.01.2014 4:16 | 11 views | 0 comments

Mini Fortress writes: "Unepic tells the story of a normal guy named Daniel who stumbles upon a trap-filled castle during a potty break in the middle of a Dungeons and Dragons game. If that sounds slightly silly and humorous, well, youd be right. Inside the castle, Daniel is possessed by a shadow, though this shadow cannot control Daniel. Instead, he accidentally traps himself inside Daniels body and has to wait for Daniel to die to be released. This leads to more humorous situations where the shadow tries to lead Daniel to his death yes, I fell for his tricks at least once. While trying to come to terms with his new fate, Daniel strongly believes his friends spiked his drink with LSD and that he is just midway through a hallucination."

ZTGD | Blackguards Review

Added: 28.01.2014 15:16 | 7 views | 0 comments

Drew Leachman writes: I enjoy a good RPG every once in a while. Ive played all sorts of video games, card games and even table top RPGs like Dungeons Dragons. Im a sucker for a good fantasy story filled with giant beasts, powerful mages and sword and shield combat. Along comes Blackguards from Daedalic Entertainment. Based on the table-top RPG The Dark Eye, players can get their dice rolls on in video game form. Just like a pen and paper RPG, it is a very deep, sometimes difficult experience that makes up for it with good characters and an intriguing story.

We have a bit of a mixed bag of free games and sales this week, but what would life be without the ups and the downs? The biggest area where you should direct your bargain-hunting sensors is over at the Nordic Games catalogue, which is currently on sale across GOG.com and even on the Steam store for a few select titles.

If you're still hungry for some price cuts after that, you can always make your way over to the Humble Bundle camp and pick up an excellent bundle for fans of roguelike games, as well as mosey on over to the iOS App Store for a short but sweet collection of fun games at next-to-nothing prices.
