Hands-On Black Ops 3 Preview Is Multiplayer Innovative? (UpItHQ)

Added: 24.07.2015 9:23 | 15 views | 0 comments

UpItHQ writes: "Giving readers a Black Ops 3 preview of what multiplayer felt like is about as close as one can get to knowing if this Call of Duty is innovative or more of the same. The hands on Black Ops 3 preview set players in three different multiplayer matches giving us limited time to customize load out prior to match start. While there was limited time we did get to check out some of the cool gadgets and things available in Black Ops 3 multiplayer. One thing was for certain, this game felt very familiar."

Duke Nukem: The King is Back, But Why?

Added: 24.07.2015 1:18 | 69 views | 0 comments

GamerFitNation: Gearbox Software CEO Randy Pitchford said during his keynote speech at Develop: Brighton that a new Duke Nukem game was in the works, and that some concept development has already been done for it. According to Pitchford, I did not acquire the franchise merely so people could experience Duke Nukem Forever. That was, sort of, the toll to pay to give Duke Nukem a chance at a future. He went to say that Gearbox is very busy with a new Borderlands on the way, their new game Battleborn coming soon, and a new Brothers in Arms game in development.

This War of Mine Review | GameSpew

Emily at GameSpew writes: "To start, lets get this straight. Ive never been one for war games. I didnt like Call of Duty nor Battlefield, but thats just my personal preference. Growing up I played games like Tomb Raider and Tenchu, so Ive still killed my fair share of bad guys and did I feel guilty about it? Nah. They were bad guys. You shoot them in the head or stab them or break their necks and you move on in the game, end of story. But what happens when you find out the bad guys have a family and people theyre trying to protect; a partner theyll never hold again; children theyll never watch grow up? Thats where This War of Mine comes in."

Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father - 20th Anniversary Edition Review | Grab It

Added: 23.07.2015 14:18 | 51 views | 0 comments

Grab It: "Over the past few years, the announcement of the latest classic game to be remastered has become as predictable as an annualised entry in the Call of Duty series. But when done right remasters have a lot to offer, appealing to rusted-on fans while hopefully bringing new converts into the fold. So what happens when a facelift is applied to a 20-year old game like Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Father? Is it a feeble attempt to turn back the clock, or a masterpiece of the finest calibre? Well, just like any sort of cosmetic surgery, Gabriel Knight may look beautiful on the outside but it doesnt always mask the underlying flaws."
