One of the great things about mmo games is that they can be based upon a great setting that already exists in some other media, such as movies or books. Gamers can quest through Middle-Earth in Lord of the Rings Online, play as a Jedi in Star Wars: The Old Republic, and boldly go where no one has gone before in Star Trek Online. Yet there is one awesome sci-fi setting that has not made the leap to online gaming, and it's a darn shame. If you don't want to be thrown into an iso-cube for some hard time, then sit down and allow MMO-Play to explain why it's time for a Judge Dredd mmo.

Zenzizenzic popped up last May, and after a bit over a year, is somehow just about done. Its gone from a Kickstarter project to being picked up by Adult Swim, which allowed the addition of a mega-mode stretch goal the campaign didnt reach. After a few months gestation, Zenzizenzic landed on Steam Early Access in April, where its been undergoing updates and revisions ever since. Now the final update before going gold is being released, adding the gameplay tweaks and final zones to the quest mode to round out the package in the last days of testing. So whats new? Plenty!

SteamFirst: Going through the items that have recently been released on Steam, GeekBeachs Orelight was an absolute stand out. Appearing in the trailer like a cross between Diablo and Dont Starve, the concept is absolutely solid. When it came to my attention that we snagged a code for coverage, I was ecstatic.
