Alice Irvin writes: "Im imagining all of you sitting across from me at a very long banquet table, staring me down like Im on the receiving end of the worlds weirdest interview. Theres Elizabeth from BioShock: Infinite, Lara from Tomb Raider, Ellie from The Last of Us, Nilin from Remember Me, Jodie from Beyond: Two Souls. Lingering in a dark corner is Daisy Fitroy, and in the doorway with a cup of lukewarm coffee is Rosalind Lutece (the coffee was warm, will be warm, has been warm, is warm). "

| Twenty-thirteen: The year of the voice
Added: 27.12.2013 15:16 | 14 views | 0 comments
AWESOMEoutof10's Adam DeMarco's been hearing voices all year long. Luckily, they've been truly captivating and mostly all from video games. "This year featured some of the finest voice-work I have ever come across, and I found it to be incredibly effective in creating memorable and engaging experiences. Courtnee Drapers work giving voice to Infinites Elizabeth was superb, as was Ashley Johnsons acting as teenage survivor Ellie in The Last of Us. Right alongside of each of them was the ubiquitous Troy Baker, who made quite the name for himself this year as well. Another incredibly good, but criminally under-appreciated performance this year was that of Danny Wallace as the narrator in Thomas Was Alone."

| BioShock: Infinite, Its Controversial
Added: 05.12.2013 13:17 | 9 views | 0 comments
A somewhat detailed discussion via eGamer in which the author discusses some controversial aspects of BioShock: Infinite, including the use of Elizabeth in-game, the theme park world of Columbia and the racist undertones of the game's villains.
Quote: "Its been a good few months since BioShock: Infinite has released and weve reached a point in time when people are either no longer sick and tired of talking about the game, or finally past the initial honeymoon period of adoring the game and shunning any who would dare to criticise it. So with that in mind, I feel its about time we got controversial."
