Square Enix has patched the PlayStation 4 version of Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster.
The following issues have been amended:
-The Random Number Generation which ensures that monster encounters and the abilities they use happen randomly has been corrected.
-The issue where the music would restart from the beginning after a random encounter has been corrected, so now you can hear the beautiful pieces of music that make up this soundtrack all the way through.

Michibiku's Jenni Lada writes, "We should all be rather thankful to Square Enix. For once, one of the companys many ports is going to do something important. Its been years since weve seen any sort of Pokemon Snap successor, or even any kind of game that handles photography for pleasure well. (Were not talking about Natsuiro High School Seisyun Hakusyo.) Square Enix is giving us an opportunity to enjoy that kind of gameplay again as a bonus feature in the 3DS iteration of Dragon Quest VIII."

| Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Review (GameWatcher)

Back in March Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was released on consoles. It did quite well, mostly down to the fact that it came bundled with a sizeable demo of the still-far-away Final Fantasy XV. Now at the end of August 2015 Square Enix has blessed PC owners with a port of the game, which may I remind you originally came out on PSP in Japan in October 2011. It does not include the Final Fantasy XV demo, so has to stand entirely on its own merits. Oh dear.

RPGFan:
Square Enix has been pulling out all the stops lately, announcing sequels and remakes and reboots of beloved franchises, pushing long-delayed projects into the development spotlight, and of course, porting many of their games to the PC platform. Final Fantasy Type-0 HD was itself a response to scores of fans' hankering to play the PSP original in English, and the latest Steam release of that game seems aimed at giving players what they want. While it is something of a flubbed execution, it does represent a pretty substantial improvement over the anemic state Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 were delivered in.
