With the number of options available to gamers when it comes to gaming peripherals growing year by year, the Daily Reaction crew is asking the question, are accessories worth it? Will simply adding on more and more high end plastic optionals improve our ability to be integrated into virtual worlds or are they just a marketing tool to get consumers to pay top dollar for things they dont need?

The Frames Per Second Fight is Just the Return of the Bit Wars We All Need to Move On

Added: 28.07.2015 17:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

Warp Zoned writes: "I bring up the old Genesis/Super NES rivalry because theres a new trend in gaming that mirrors the old Bit Wars disturbingly well, and thats frames per second, or FPS. It seems before anyone on the Twitters or the Faced Books or Red Its can talk about the actual content of the game, they have to ask about the framerate. Many a conversation takes place in the comments section on any new trailer about the framerate, and plenty of online warriors proudly attempt to start a boycott of any game that runs at less than 60 FPS."

Nintendo Life: 3D Streets of Rage 2 Review

Added: 26.07.2015 0:18 | 11 views | 0 comments

Nintendo Life: There was a time when playground arguments didn't revolve around resolutions, framerates or what PewDiePie's favourite toast topping is. In the early '90s it was simple; which is the best: Final Fight or Streets of Rage? Final Fight was, for a time, exclusive to Nintendo and jealous Mega Drive owners glared with envy at their smug SNES-owning friends. This smugness was short lived; shortly afterwards Sega answered back with the original Streets of Rage and thus the classroom war began. Whatever your preference was back in the day, there's no denying that Sega did a decent job at imitating what made Final Fight so appealing. They even went a step further by including a simultaneous two player mode, which the SNES version of Final Fight was notably lacking.

Review: Marvel Future Fight (DarkZero)

Added: 24.07.2015 2:18 | 13 views | 0 comments

Thomas McDermott: "I've often seen complaints that people rush through games solely to get a review published early. Apparently early reviews get more views than late ones, and that is important. I don't think many will be angry at me for rushing my review for Marvel Future Fight, as at the time of writing, it is now a solid two months after release. It's a free to play game, which means it incentivises daily log ins, so that means I have played a bit every day for those two months. Now I have to explain why I played a game like this so much - even though I am not 100% sure myself."

Onechanbara Z2: Chaos is the latest iteration in the Onechanbara series featuring the world’s sexiest zombie slayers.
