New FlatOut titled FlatOut 4: Total Insanity

The next entry in the FlatOut series, previously announced as due out in 2016, will be called FlatOut 4: Total Insanity, publisher Strategy First announced.
In addition to Kylotonn Entertainment, developer Tiny Rebel Games will work closely with Strategy First in providing services in all areas of the development and promotion cycle. The studio is described by Strategy First as being instrumental to the creation of franchises including Grand Theft Auto, Midnight Club, BioShock, and Borderlands.

Today we can report on the results of one test that uses an actual real-world game engine: Stardock shared with IGN an alpha DX12 test build of its upcoming RTS game, Ashes of the Singularity. It supports both DirectX 12 and older versions of DirectX (depending on your hardware), which allowed IGN to test both DX11 and DX12 on the same system back-to-back.
