Siliconera: I like to think that Ive played a lot of fighting games, but I certainly havent played them all. One developer Ive almost completely ignored is French Bread, who are mainly known for the Melty Blood series. Under Night In-Birth is the latest series from French Bread, and Im happy to say that it takes the genre to some interesting places.

| This Week In Imports: Dragon Quest Goes Dynasty Warriors
Added: 24.02.2015 12:10 | 12 views | 0 comments
Dragon Quest Heroes, a mashup of Square Enixs RPG series with Dynasty Warriors style gameplay, makes its debut in Japan this week. This will be the first Dragon Quest title for PlayStation since 2006 when Dragon Quest Final Fantasy in Fortune Street Portable came out for PSP and a roguelike spinoff starring a young Yangus came out for PS2. Considering how well Hyrule Warriors did, Dragon Quest Heroes should be a huge release in Japan.
A bunch of Japanese games will arrive in the West this week including French Bread fighter Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late, Stings strategy RPG Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart, htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, and Dragon Ball Xenoverse.

Marcus Estrada writes: "French developer Dontnod first appeared on my radar when Remember Me was in the works. The unique futuristic storyline did not seem to grab players as a whole, but basically everyone agreed that the Memory Remixing gameplay aspect was worthy of praise. It seems they kept that in mind as their latest game, Life is Strange, utilizes memory and time in its own ways. Although the episodic series has just begun its obvious theyll continue with said timeline-altering features. Of course, framing a completely different story with time mechanics requires careful attention. So how does time interact with Life is Strange, and does it fit?
