GRTV talked to game director Austin Ivansmith and producer Rey Jimenez about DuckTales Remastered. "When you beat the game there is an option to play the 8-bit music, and the for the levels that are new, the areas that are new we've created new 8-bit music that is in the spirit of the original game," said Ivansmith. "Not just the spirit, it's flawless," interjects Jimenez. "If you didn't know that the track wasn't there you would think it's an original track from the NES game. Absolutely you would."
