Starting out as a group of guys who liked to mod Half-Life 2, The Chinese Room turned into a development team when they made a mod of theirs, Dear Esther, into a full game. Everybodys Gone to the Rapture is a spiritual sequel to that game.

Anna's Quest is good old-fashioned questing. Lots of mystical, magical items and bargaining with characters to get what you need.
