Resident Evil Revelations 2 review for PS Vita | Gaming Age

Added: 05.09.2015 21:17 | 69 views | 0 comments

GA: I'll be honest here: the odds of me disliking Resident Evil Revelations 2 on the Vita were extraordinarily slim from the get-go. No matter how much I may love indie games, no matter how much I've come to appreciate Japanese games, the truth is, I'm always eager to play more full-fledged 3D action game on Sony's handheld. I didn't have any illusions about it, obviously: I didn't expect I'd be getting another Uncharted: Golden Abyss or Killzone Mercenary or anything, but I figured this late port would fill a niche that's been a little underserved in recentwell, years, if we're being realistic.

John from The Gamers Lounge writes "I love the Sega Genesis. There are so many great games for that system. Phantasy Star, Shinobi, Golden Axe, the list goes on and on. But my favorite series was Streets of Rage. I am a huge fan of beat-em-ups. When M2 released 3D Streets of Rage on the 3DS I played it over and over for weeks. Now M2 has released 3D Streets of Rage 2 and as expected, it is as great as the original."

Helldivers: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition Review | Power Up Gaming

Added: 03.09.2015 4:18 | 17 views | 0 comments

Jamaal Ryan writes: "It used to be a running joke back in the late 80s and early 90s that video game box art had little to do with the actual games content. Mega Man, Pac-Man, and Golden Axe to name but a few presented a level of emotion, mischief, and heroics in their box art that didnt fully translate into actual gameplay and emergent story telling. The box art for Helldivers: Super-Earth Ultimate Edition, however, tells a more reflective narrative: four Helldivers, completely surrounded by jagged and fearsome giant insects, are hopelessly overwhelmed proving their desperate defensive attempts futile. This is every bit the experience that Helldivers delivers."
